Refunds

Changed your mind? You have 14 days to withdraw and get all your money back. No reason needed. This applies to everyone, wherever you live. In the EU, the EEA and the UK, it is also your legal right of withdrawal. This page is part of our Terms (section 12).

The rule

  • You can withdraw from any purchase within 14 days. The 14 days start the day after you buy. If the 14th day is a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, you have until the end of the next working day.
  • You keep this right even though we deliver straight away. Downloading your deed or sharing your plot doesn't end it.
  • You get back everything you paid for that order: the plot, every extra (including a Wheel of Torment draw or a Pandora's Box you kept) and any tax.
  • We refund you within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, usually within 2 working days. The money goes back to the payment method you used, through our payment provider, the seller, at no cost to you. Your bank may take another 5 to 10 days to show it.
  • A Neighbourhood Pack is refunded in full too. Gift plots that friends have already claimed stay theirs.
  • If you paid for a friend's Purgatory Claim, you are the buyer, so you are the one who can withdraw. The plot then goes back on the market.

How to withdraw (any of these works)

  • Press Withdraw from contract here on the Withdraw page or on your private management page, and confirm.
  • Email agent@plot-in-hell.com, or reply to your confirmation email, saying you want to withdraw. Write from the email address you paid with if you can, and include your plot address (for example, Circle 7, Plot 666-B).
  • Write to FARO DEVELOPMENT SRL, Str. Traian nr. 26, parter, ap. 2, 400046 Cluj-Napoca, jud. Cluj, Romania.

You can use the model form at the bottom of this page, but you don't have to. It's enough to send your message before the 14 days end. We confirm receipt by email straight away and handle everything with our payment provider for you.

What happens to your plot

  • It goes back on the market, and your name and epitaph are removed from the map.
  • Your private management link and deed downloads for that order stop working, and your licence to use that deed ends. There's nothing to send back.

No hard feelings. Mostly.

After 14 days

After 14 days, orders are final, with these exceptions:

  • if something you bought doesn't work as described, you have the legal remedies in section 15 of the Terms;
  • if a change to the Site makes your purchase worse in more than a minor way, you can end the contract under section 13 of the Terms;
  • if we close the Site, section 14 of the Terms applies;
  • if we made a mistake, we put it right.

If something went wrong, write to us anyway.

Free Purgatory Claims

Purgatory Claims are free, so there's nothing to refund. They end on their own after 7 days, or earlier if you ask us.

Card disputes

If you don't recognise a charge, look for a receipt email from our payment provider that mentions Satan Realty. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank: a refund from us is faster for you than a dispute. This doesn't affect your rights with your bank.

Printed deeds (not in stock yet)

We don't sell printed deeds yet. If we start, they will come with their own terms, including their own withdrawal rules, shown before you buy.
